Have the Joint Administrators sold any customer agreements?
Yes. The Joint Administrators have sold various customer agreements to a third-party company, Perch Capital Limited.
The purchaser has subsequently appointed ACI-UK Ltd (“ACI”) to manage these accounts.
Have all accounts been sold to a third party?
No. A number of customer accounts have not been included in the sale. The Joint Administrators will be communicating with these customers separately in relation to the status of their accounts.
How do I know if my account has been sold and who to?
If your agreement(s) has been sold, you will have received a Notice of Assignment of outstanding debt from BrightHouse, please refer to this for details on who to contact regarding your agreement(s).

Have Perch Capital Limited purchased BrightHouse?
No. Perch Capital have only purchased certain agreements and customer accounts in the Caversham Finance Limited (in Administration) loan book. Any brands or digital assets, including the BrightHouse brand and BrightHouse domain name, remain the property of Caversham Finance Limited under the control of the Joint Administrators.
Please note Perch Capital did not purchase BrightHouse as a company or legal entity. BrightHouse remains in Administration under the control of the Joint Administrators.
Can you transfer my account?
Yes. Under the standard terms and conditions, that accompany all BrightHouse agreements, BrightHouse can transfer customer loans to a purchaser without prior consent from the customer.
If your agreements(s) has been sold to Perch Capital Limited, you should have received a letter from BrightHouse to confirm this as well as a subsequent Notice of Assignment from ACI-UK Limited, who Perch Capital has appointed to manage the agreements which have been sold.
I am in an Individual voluntary arrangement (IVA) or Debt Management Plan (DMP) and they pay BrightHouse direct, what happens to these payments?
BrightHouse has contacted all Insolvency Practitioners and Debt Management Companies and advised them where your agreement(s) have been sold.
We recommend you also contact your authorised third party and advise them of this change.
I currently pay by PayPoint can I still do this?

You should cancel any recurring payment arrangements agreed with Zinc and if your agreement(s) has been sold, you should contact ACI-UK Ltd to set up your payment arrangement with them – ACI will honour any arrangements already in place. What happens to my credit records?
Control of your credit records for any agreement sold is transferred from BrightHouse to Perch Capital. BrightHouse have reported to the various credit reference agencies to close your agreement record and a new record will be established by Perch Capital Limited.
Will I incur further interest on my Agreement(s)?
If your agreement(s) has been sold to Perch Capital, you will not accrue or be charged any further interest. ACI-UK Ltd (“ACI”) will only collect the outstanding balance owed in respect of your agreement(s) i.e. the amount you originally borrowed, minus any payments already made. Please direct any queries in this regard to ACI.
What if I cannot pay the full balance?

Can I continue to deal with BrightHouse?
If your agreement(s) have been sold then no, as your agreement(s) have now been assigned to ACI-UK Ltd, so you should now contact them directly. A number of customer agreement(s) have not been included in the sale, and these agreements have now been terminated.
