Calling all foodies!
Posted 13/05/2016 by BrightHouse Team
BrightHouse will be producing eight mouth-watering food recipe booklets this summer, and we're looking for contributors. We're working with some of the best influencers and blogs in the foodie world, and will be asking them to submit a beloved recipe from their collection to help inspire readers to cook.
There'll be a recipe for everyone in our booklets, no matter what your favourite foods are.
Our family-friendly recipe booklet will cater towards small and large households with children. These recipes will really make the most of utilising condiments from the cupboard, and focus on creating meals that are designed to feed families of four or more.
Cooking on a budget? These student friendly recipes will be right up your street. The ingredients for recipes in this booklet can be created easily on a budget, and there might even be enough left to double-up for lunch the next day!
The vegetarian recipe book will be brimming with meatless recipes, and you may even spot some dishes that replace the meat option in classic recipes with something more veggie friendly. Swap your summer BBQ meat with colourful vegetable kebabs, or replace the mince in lasagne with meat-free alternatives to suit your diet.
Professional athletes and keen sporting enthusiasts can be very particular about their diets. Bodybuilders need a high protein and low-carb diet during peak season, whilst cycling and running enthusiasts require an increased amount of carbohydrates to fuel their body for performance. Take some tips from our food bloggers for fitness-friendly recipes.
As well as covering ideas for weekday meals in some of our other booklets; planning meals for big family occasions, birthdays, parties or events needs a carefully considered recipe and lots of preparation time. You'll even be able to prepare some of the meals the day before, and simply cook or heat up them up on the day of an event.
The BrightHouse seasonal recipe booklet will include meal creations using products that are only available during certain times of the year. To find foods that flourish during spring, summer, winter and autumn, check out the seasonal food recipes from our much-loved influencers.
If you have a restrictive diet and you're allergic or intolerant to certain food groups (e.g. dairy or gluten-free), the special booklets recipe will be perfect to inspire future meals.
The baking booklet is for readers with a sweet tooth that want to recreate some sugary treats for friends and family at home. Stay tuned to read some yummy dessert recipes, with everything from funfetti sugar cookie buns to Jamaican ginger cake.
