Buying a Computer on finance
At BrightHouse we’re dedicated to providing state-of-the-art computing products at prices that won’t break the bank. That’s why, when you buy a PC, notebook or tablet on finance from us, you don’t need to pay out a sizeable deposit, meaning you can get the products you need, when you need them.
Applying for a computer on finance
Unlike many retailers, at BrightHouse we don’t base our credit decisions solely on your past history. Instead, we look at your ability to pay for your products now and in the future – so if you’ve been declined for credit elsewhere there’s a good chance we can help you.
To buy a computer on finance, your first step should be to fill in our online application form. We’ll use the information you provide to perform a quick credit check. If your application is successful, we’ll contact you to arrange an appointment at your nearest BrightHouse store.
At your appointment you will be asked to provide the following essential documents:
- Proof of income (i.e. wage slip or benefits document)
- Home contents insurance policy (if you have one)
- Tenancy agreement or mortgage statement
You may also be asked to show a photo ID and a proof of address, such as a household bill.
Once we’ve approved your application you can choose the computing product you want and finalise your agreement. There’s no additional deposit, you just need to make the first payment and we’ll arrange delivery of your item within 7 days.
Computer finance payment options
All of BrightHouse’s computing products are displayed on our site with a cost-per-week. To help you to access the computing products you need, we don’t just offer pay weekly payment options for our computers but also pay fortnightly and pay monthly payment options in addition. Simply ask in-store and we’ll make an arrangement that suits you.
Payments can be made in-store or over the phone, in cash or via debit card. If you are concerned that you will be unable to meet a payment, you should inform your local store immediately and they will advise you on the best course of action. This may involve temporarily returning your product and freezing your payments until such time as you can resume them.
